Air Fry Kung Pao Brussels
Ingredients:
1 ½ - 2 lbs. Brussel Sprouts
1 Tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
2 tablespoons soy sauce
2 tablespoon honey
1 Tablespoon rice vinegar
1 Tablespoon sesame oil
2 teaspoons sriracha
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon brown sugar
½ teaspoon szechuan pepper
¼ cup roughly chopped parsley
Garnish with:
Crushed peanuts
Pine nuts
Lemon slices
Lemon zest
Additional Parsley
Halve brussel sprouts. In a large bowl, toss brussel sprouts with olive oil. Air fry for 20 minutes at 400 degrees (tossing every 5-6 minutes). Don’t have an airfryer? Preheat the oven to 400 degrees and roast for 30-35 minutes, shaking the pan halfway through.
While sprouts cook, combine soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, sesame oil, sriracha, minced garlic, and brown sugar in a small pot. Bring to boil over high heat then simmer on low for 5 minutes, stirring frequently.
Transfer cooked brussel sprouts to a bowl. Add szechuan pepper to the sauce and pour over the sprouts. Stir in roughly chopped parsley.
Garnish and serve immediately.
